The School for Social Entrepreneurs – Ontario is proud to present one of our Social Entrepreneur Fellows today, Jermaine Henry winner of most photogenic smile amongst his fellows. Get to know Jermaine in his own words:
“I am a Social ARTrepreneur who is passionate about connecting and inspiring people to self-actualize. Through drama, emceein, facilitation and spoken word he aims to co-create meaningful moments rooted in compassion and hope. I have had the privilege to perform and facilitate as well as collaborate with various stakeholders in the social sector including York District School Board, The New Mentality of Children’s Mental Health of Ontario, Children Peace Theatre, Youth Social Infrastructure Collaborative, 360°kids, and YouthREX of York U. My mission is to use my artistry and facilitation skills to curate brave spaces for people to be their full-selves and connect with our humanity.
“I am also apart of Spoke N’ Heard arts based social enterprise who has connected him with key partners such as with Grass-roots Youth Collaborative (GYC), Youth Social Infrastructure (YSI) Collaborative, The New Mentality and NIA centre for the Arts.
“My venture Fresh Perspective Facilitating is a social enterprise co-creating authentic and vulnerable collaborative spaces (brave space) where leaders in the social sector can clarify mission & vision for collective action. I’m looking to connect with organizations passionate about new approaches to the social sector.”
